Sitting next to my window, I stare into impenetrable darkness on yet another sleepless night.
Fervently I bite those nails without reason, again. I hear a loud splash!
While i deliberate if it's from within or without, in the silence of midnight, before I even realise, a verdure of untold memories flash!
I so wish I could paint them, paint them in the brightest of colours, hang them all around and revere in their every shade through my darkest nights.
As the stillness creeps into me, I realise that I fail to muster enough courage to recall them all.
I fear that one day they might fade away, fade away into distant dreams and disappear like the people who walked in, remain apparitions of those who created them and walked away.
I yet sit in the darkness pleading it to vanish for it is the darkness, the darkness which speaks the truth and silences too!
